Friday, January 14 11:45 PM Heavy Hand, Sunken Spirit is an ongo ing project about the soci etal costs and con se quences of Mexico’s vio lent drug war. It frames the vio lence as a symp tom, as opposed to the prob lem, and one of a vari ety of symp toms that will haunt the coun try for gen er a tions. This coun try is in the midst of a “con flict” in every sense of the word, and when doc u ment ing this con flict it is impor tant not to reduce what is hap pen ing to a series of nearly anony mous images of car nage that could be hap pen ing anywhere. The wounds of this war bleed into every cor ner of the coun try, stain ing the very fab ric of Mex i can life with violence, death and fear. The psy chol ogy of the coun try is also chang ing, as peo ple become accus tomed to hor ror and dis trust, weak en ing an already frag ile democ racy. I am most fas ci nated by the space between what Mex ico has always been and what this car nage is cre at ing. The heat of the con flict is melt ing two worlds together, mak ing a sin gu lar Mex ico defined as much by vio lence and ten sion as by his tory and culture. Pho tog ra pher: David Rochkind. 9:30 PM Rad Hourani X Aldo Personally, this is disappointing. After his rather lacklustre new collection, these shoes now fail to impress - I can only appreciate the simplicity of the 3rd one : He should've stuck with his Fall 2010 RTW/ at least, Rad by Rad Hourani still looks awesome, the times when a sub brand can actually pose a bit of threat to the main line

11:01 PM Look at the queue at 9am The power of the singapore spirit, in full supposedly the clinic i went to has this very famous doctor that everyone wants to see, so basically 90% of the people there wants to consult her, etc - i went there with the intent to consult her about my skin too, so we took the queue number, guess what i got 25 / expected to wait for a two hours, went to eat, waited till 1130 still wasnt our turn, so we skipped to the other doc she wasn't that bad after all - and the fees are terribly cheap : 149 total for 8 meds + consultation which is a ton cheaper than my 300+ spent with the other " specialist " i went to, talk about big heads

4:55 PM weird ass specks big ass nose So today i went to see tangs after school cause i had the intention of using my rebates before 6 months ended and everything i've earned disappear down the drain of corporate gimmicks. Nothing much there atm , but got my paws on some David Flores. They were going for 30% off per two, so i figured might as well collected my Police wayfarers / i think they look kind of weird. and when i look down it seems that the floor is slanted - prolly takes time getting used to, the focal point and all the etc.
